A custodial parent must receive permission to move their child more than 50 miles away in Florida.
Florida has very specific requirements for parents who wish to move their children 50 miles or more away from the other parent. Unless the other parent agrees to the move in writing, the parent who wishes to move must petition the court for permission to do so. Failure to do so could result in the children being placed with the other parent. This is a situation where you should have an attorney help you navigate the legal system.
