Residency
Do I Have To Live in Florida To Get a Divorce in Florida?
To file for divorce in a Florida court, one or both spouses must be a resident of Florida for at least six months. One party must live in Florida and proof of residency in the form of a Florida driver’s license, or a State-issued ID will need to be filed with the court.
